Product Manager

Our client is a leading international mobile handset manufacturing organisation.

Location: M4 Corridor, relocation assistance available

Job Purpose:

Working as part of the products team, you will be responsible for the effective management of product roadmaps and ‘sell-in’ for key operator accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of the operator roadmap plan, including product sell-in, product prioritisation and proposition refinement

  • To ensure operator requirements are clearly specified and communicated to the sales, planning and engineering teams

  • Prepare and present relevant information on the product roadmap to operators and internal teams

  • Customer relationship management from project to executive level

  • To report the product sell-in and engagement status to internal stakeholders

  • Any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may arise from time to time within the products team

    •  

Person Specification

  • Experience of working in product or technology management, ideally within a mobile handset manufacturing or telecoms organisation. Ideally your experience should include, but not be limited to; product development, product management, process alignment, technology development, business development, product marketing, sales operations and research & development and design.

  • Excellent knowledge of the mobile telecoms business, in particular, devices, services and product portfolio management

  • Strong program and project management skills, including developing/managing schedules and managing issues and risk.

  • Knowledge of Windows Mobile, Android and Brew platforms

  • Proven track record of delivering product solutions.

  • Degree or equivalent in a Engineering, Computing, Technology or Business related subject.

  • Able to travel as and when required in the UK and overseas
